Installation in Temps de Flors 58th edition at the portal of the Germanes Maria Gay on carrer de la Força nº12, in the Barri Vell of Girona, incorporating the theme of flowers and taking architecture as a setting.
It is proposed to generate a route, activating the senses of visitors. This will be defined by negation, contrast and illusion. The illusion of a mirage, of a reflection alluding to a captive flora, will become the guide of the route. Suspended metal cylinders, containers of light, landmarks on the path that hide the object of desire. The darkness created will contrast with the punctual lighting arising from the various cuts or elevations to which the cylinders will be subjected in order to draw and reveal the forms of the portal. The flowers, suspended in the air, or deposited on the ground, will be hidden in the metal folds. Its presence will be fleeting and ambiguous, projected in mirrors, we will only be able to admire it in its appearance. The spectator, confused by the reflections, guided by sound, light, and smell, will gradually discover the mirage of a flower that before the end of the journey will have become an allegory of desire.
